I love that you feature Alanis and Niecy Nash. The "should" that I'm kicking to the curb this week is that I "should have it all done..." This has been the bane of my existence my entire life. Even as I was caring for my dad this past year, he would get upset that dinner was NOT done on time. But to cook a chicken appropriately... so it wouldn't taste like rubber or you'd get Salmonella... sometimes, it takes longer than you'd think--especially when it's frozen solid from Costco. And yet, at 86, he had not grasped this... and I let get to me. No more.
The word does invade speech and thought way too much! I had a coach that would say "boo boo should" when I used the word! Keep writing! Loving what you are putting down!
